Technology and Process

Isostatic pressing and dry pressing are the most commonly used methods for shaping ceramic blanks. Isostatic pressing involves compressing ceramic powders from all sides in specific molds to achieve the best product density and uniformity. This technique is generally used in the shaping process for large-scale products. Our equipment can meet the shaping requirements for products with a length exceeding 2000mm or a diameter of up to 850mm.

Material Preparation

Select appropriate raw materials according to product requirements and strictly control the quality.

Material Forming

Isostatic pressing and dry pressing are common methods for forming ceramic blanks. Isostatic pressing involves loading ceramic powders into molds and applying pressure from all sides to achieve optimal density and uniformity. This technique is used for large products, and Companion‘s equipment can handle products over 2000mm in length or 800mm in diameter.

Sintering

Companion has a range of high-temperature sintering furnaces to sinter blanks of various sizes and shapes according to precise temperature profiles, ensuring the desired product density and shape.

Fine Machining

In order to ensure that the product size can meet the stringent requirements of the application field, the sintered products will be grinded and polished by various precision processing equipment to meet the dimensional accuracy requirements. Companion has the experience to control the product dimensional tolerance accuracy within ±0.002mm and flatness within ±0.002mm.

Inspection

Comprehensive inspection of product surface microstructure, dimensional accuracy, cracks and other indicators to ensure the overall performance of the products.

Precise Cleaning

Strict surface treatment and cleaning process will be used in electronic communications, display&lighting, precision optics and other sophisticated products in the field.

Vacuum Packing

After reaching the standard of cleanness, the products will be vacuum-packed in Class 100 dust-free workshop.
